Issues in nuclear security policy

This course introduces undergraduate students of Political Science and International Relations to the existing and emerging threats posed to International Security by Nuclear Weapons and their proliferation. Core topics of this seminar include the proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and their delivery vehicles, the current status of the nuclear Non-proliferation regime, military and political implications of Iran’s nuclear program for the Middle East; India’s and Pakistan’s nuclear capabilities and many more questions regarding Nuclear Security topics.

This course is supported by “The Stanton Foundation”, created by Dr. Frank Stanton, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA with a grant offered to Prof. Kibaroğlu in 2015 as part of its “Course Development Program” in the field of Nuclear Security Studies.
