Arms Control and Global Order Research Unit at Martin Luther University (ACGO)

The Arms Control and Global Order Research Unit (ACGO) is an interdisciplinary research unit based at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. It focuses on arms control, critical raw materials, and global order under the conditions of multipolarization and rapid technological change. ACGO combines research, academic exchange, and policy-oriented dialogue, with particular emphasis on international cooperation and interdisciplinary perspectives. ACGO’s tradition of close collaboration with practitioners to provide knowledge transfer and capacity building ensures that research findings can contribute to policy making.
